A Feng Shui Burial site was a tradition carried out by very wealthy Chinese families. A tomb or grave would be placed in a Feng Shui spot, where the Earth energy would best support the bones of their ancestors. Their intention followed the ideas of Confucious, that by respecting and honouring your elders/ancestors, you would be blessed with good fortune. Similar to the way that some families spend a fortune on a wedding day, some Chinese families would go bankrupt to pay for an expensive burial site, such was their belief in its importance.
